Experiences in Oslo
Oslo lies at the heart of the Oslofjord, surrounded by wooded hills with hiking trails and swimming spots. Here you can enjoy both outdoor life and the city pulse - from Karl Johans gate it's a short walk to Aker Brygge and Rådhuskaia, and just as close to forests and fields with ski slopes in winter and great trails in summer. Oslo also offers a varied cultural life with museums, galleries, shopping and restaurants.

Oslo City Hall is located between the hotel and Aker Brygge. Worth a visit.
Frognerseteren
Another national treasure and on the list of everyone who wants to experience Oslo. Eat homemade meatballs or moose cookies and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with cream and heavenly views! Starting point for the Corkscrew.
Holmenkollen
A landmark for Oslo that can be seen from almost the entire city. Take the subway up and enjoy the view. The hill is open to tourists and has a zip line in the summer.
Oslo Cathedral

Parliament
With a view from the hotel, you can also stroll through the park to the Norwegian Parliament. A central meeting place for many.
Sightseeing
Guided tours and themed boat trips! Boat trips depart from Rådhusbrygge 3, where tickets can also be purchased.

Spike soup
Just outside the hotel you’ll find the Spikersuppa park, with fountains, benches, flowers, refreshments and a good view of the crowds.
The fortress
From when Oslo was called Christiania, a city fortress with history in every stone. About 10 minutes on foot from the hotel.

The Opera House is a popular attraction. Designed by Snøhetta, Oslo has secured an eventful tourist attraction.

The National Museum
Here you can see both older and modern art, contemporary art, and design in one place at the Nordic region’s largest art museum.
The National Museum has a permanent exhibition of around 5,000 objectsr, encompassing everything from design, crafts, and visual art from many different centuries, in addition to art from our own time.

Bicycle tour at Bygdøy
Enjoy beautiful scenery along the beach at Bygdøy. Walk/cycle from the city, or take the bus. Here you’ll find hiking trails and places to eat for the whole family.

Hukstranda
Huk beach is within walking distance, or a short bus ride, from the city center. It offers a restaurant, several beaches and rocky outcrops, a beach volleyball court, and a large parking area. Feel free to take a walk to the King’s Farm and say hello to all the grazing cows.
Nordmarka
Enjoy winter at its best on one of Nordmarkas many ski trails. Just a subway ride from central Oslo.
Sørenga city beach
Tour along the Akerselva river
A beautiful walk along the Akerselva river is beautiful in summer and winter. Enjoy a hot coffee or bubbles at one of the many pleasant stops along the way.
Tour from the castle through the city
From the Palace Square, past the Parliament, through Karl Johans Gate and down to the Central Station. From here, you can stroll on to Grunerløkka and Gamlebyen.
The Palace is open to visitors in the summertime.
Tryvann
Oslo’s most beautiful ski lift with views and plenty of opportunities for ski enthusiasts. Not far away, you can also take your toboggan and test out the Corkscrew!
