Infection control at Karl Johan Hotel
- We have disinfectant available in all entrances to all guest areas for guests.
- Our breakfast buffet includes disinfectant before, between and after the buffet.
- Contact surfaces such as door handles, handrails, payment terminals, tables and other contact surfaces in the hotel are frequently cleaned.
- We ask our guests to use disinfectant or wash their hands when they arrive at the hotel.
- If you feel unwell and are unsure of the cause, please stay at home and come back at another time.
- We have designated seating in the restaurant, lounge and mezzanine.
- We have procedures in place for guests and staff who feel unwell or are diagnosed with Covid-19.
- We encourage all our guests to keep a distance of one meter.
- Our 3 elevators are now regulated to take only 2, or 1 person at a time.
- We have plexiglass protection in the reception.
- Key cards are stored for 48 hours before being reused.
- We sell face masks at the reception.

Infection control and meetings
- Your health and safety is important to us at Karl Johan Hotel. We have a high standard of hygiene and ensure your safety in the best possible way.
- We are open for conferences and meetings, but have limited the number of participants so that we can maintain a good distance between each other.
- We have disinfectants readily available in all meeting and conference rooms.
- We have lists of all attendees with names and phone numbers in order to be able to quickly provide messages in accordance with the Norwegian Institute of Public Health’s requirements for information availability among participants at events.
